Bread Story is an innovative New-York concept brought to Israel by the owner of the restaurant Vicki Christina and the Benedict chain.

The concept of Bread Story which combines the bakery with the classic kitchen, was developed in New York and inspired by a number of bakeries and bread-based chains, and topped off with an Israeli twist.

At the Bread Story, the bread takes center stage and the smallest details are taken into account – the texture, the design, and of course, the flavor. Each loaf is especially tailored for a specific dish so the dish created tells the story of the bread, and the bread lends his uniqueness to the dish, thus making the dining experience unlike anything you’ve ever known.

For this innovative concept, pastry chefs Yaron Shenler and Yogev Yehros developed various unique breads while using both classic and modern baking techniques.

Bread Story is actually a restaurant that features a bread shop and a deli. In the center of the restaurant there’s the bread shop, operational during all opening hours. The shop sells breads and other pastries, freshly baked each day.

The kitchen at Bread Story is based on baking alone (no frying), and the menu gives new and exciting meaning to the concept of bread. Some of the specials are; Fricassee with chuma pepper mixed in the dough, Hamburger in a ketchup bun and Brioche Ice-cream.

Also available – various jams and spreads developed by the chain, and a selection of fresh and tasty pastries.

88 Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv, 03-528 38 88, Opening Hours: Sun-Fri 07:00-02:00, Sat 08.30-02.00, website.
