If you are visiting Jerusalem, make it at least an overnight trip. The city has a wonderful nightlife scene, and if you do stay the night – style it up at Mamila Hotel.

But even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can enjoy the flavors of Mamila Café, recently opened at the Mamila hotel.

The restaurant is spacious and includes several breathtaking sections: the large section with its long tile table, a more intimate, interior section and an enormous balcony overlooking the entire Mamila shopping boulevard.

Mamila Café and Brasserie is a restaurant-café with Mediterranean inspiration, run by Chef Kobi Bachar – former sous-chef of the acclaimed restaurant, Mul Yam, at Tel Aviv Harbor (and its de facto manager). A year ago, Bachar was appointed chef of Mamila Hotel, and also the manager of Mamila Café.

The café offers a large selection of quality dishes, all prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Bachar explains that Jerusalem, due to its weather, is blessed with fresh quality products all year long, which allow him to maintain the natural flavors off the ingredients.

The menu is kosher, dairy based and features a variety of fish, fresh pastas, focaccias and desserts.
