Gouje & Danielle was born out of their dream to open a restaurant in the moshav, and incorporate the passion of hosting and making people happy and the love of culinary – to combine the tranquil and pastoral atmosphere of the moshav and the quality food of the big city.

In an abandoned and derelict wooden structure on top of a breathtaking hill, overlooking the Sharon area, Gouje & Danielle was lovingly open and turned into a complete gem.

Entering the restaurant you can see a spacious hall stylishly decorated in wood and cream colored furniture. The old water tower wall is uniquely incorporated into the structure. A wall of bare bricks a parquet floor give the place a rustic yet polished look.

The large windows blend with the landscape of grape vines, olive and citrus groves dotting the foot of the restaurant and the giant outdoor terrace invites the diners to immerse themselves into the atmosphere.

“The desire was to create a quality restaurant on par with restaurants in Tel Aviv , but give the customer a different atmosphere. Looking through a window and a glimpse of the green spaces from horizon to horizon. It’s something you cannot find in a big city. The combination of a unique culinary experience,  stylish decor of the restaurant and the view the cannot be ignored – it’s the magic of Gouje & Danielle,” says Nir Pe’er, the restaurant manager.

Gouje & Danielle is a country bistro. The restaurant’s menu is inspired by the cuisines of France, Italy and the Mediterranean.

The executive chef is Snir Ang-Sela, who worked for the better part of two decades in the world’s top kitchens: as the sous chef at Montrachet in New York City, where he mentored Ran Pollack who later became Gouje & Danielle’s chef. He was also the chef at the prestigious Blue Hill at Stone Barns and at Commerce in New York.

Snir returned to Israel after years in New York and, alongside his job as the culinary advisor of the Moses franchise, he joined Gouje & Danielle and chef Ran Pollack as the executive chef.

At the Gouje & Danielle’s kitchen, Snir and Ran use fresh produce and other local raw materials as well as working with local farmers and growers in the Sharon area and serves local products from the orchards below the restaurant.

A meal in Gouje & Danielle is like a vacation, an overall experience of the senses a romantic break and full flavor and color.

    We were visiting relatives in Gaash and they took us here for lunch. The food was outstanding had great presentation and even better taste. It truly surpassed all the other meals that we enjoyed traveling through Israel. This is one restaurant I would go back to again and again one not to miss!
