Blue Sky, 10 Elieze Peri Street, Tel Avivby Sarit Goffen | 07.05.14
Blue Sky is the new, kosher restaurant by chef Meir Adoni which opened in 2013. It is located on the roof of the luxurious Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv, overlooking the magnificent beach and urban landscape. The beautiful view transports the patrons to another dimension.
After 12 years of original creation in his famed restaurant Catit, chef Adoni realized there is a great need for a kosher gourmet restaurant in the culinary scene in Israel. The Blue Sky kitchen is a chef’s kitchen which provided a tapestry of culinary experiences – from light dishes and unique cocktails to three course meals accompanied by exquisite wines. The concept in Blue Sky is to allow for a reach, current and kosher experience from the chef’s kitchen.
The menu includes dishes from the best raw materials on a changing seasonal basis – various fish, fruits and vegetables, quality olive oils and boutique cheeses. Each dish incorporates various flavors, raw materials and textures in different combinations. Each dish is beautifully presented in the distinct Adoni style and all together create a lovely sensual experience without compromising the kosher aspect – a novelty in the culinary world.
The spectacular view from the Blue Sky roof combined with the current clean design and the creative dishes make for an elegant experience. It is a pleasure sitting at Blue Sky all hours of the day.
