Milgo&Milbar is not a ‘chef restaurant’ but rather ‘a chefs restaurant’ – two chefs to be exact.

The Tel Aviv restaurant is located at the end of Rothschild Boulevard, right in front of the Habima Square. It is headed by the two chefs Moti Titman and Or Michaeli, together creating an innovative, young and stylish cuisine.

Michaeli has returned to Israel after six years in Paris and London, where he worked in restaurants such as Pied á Terre in London (a Michelin starred restaurant), Agape restaurant in the 17th quarter in Paris (also a Michelin starred restaurant) in which Michaeli worked as a sous chef. His partner, Moti Titman, is known as the co-founder of Heder Ochel as well as being its operational chef and as the sous chef in the well-known Rafael. He was also one of the founders of Breads in New York.

Milgo&Milbar was opened in 2013, but after a change in partners, it was decided to change the concept, to recruit new chefs and to use new management – thus creating the new Milgo&Milba – a mostly fish and seafood restaurant with a distinct culinary line that draws both diners and curious chefs from other restaurants. The restaurant also features a fascinating wine menu, created for the restaurant by Ella Saker, the restaurant manager. Ben Ring, a musician and cultural persona, is charged with creating the musical vibe of the restaurant, making it into a born again groovy restaurant. The new young chefs create an innovative collaboration when their dynamic is showcased in the open kitchen, while paying attention to presentation and using unique raw materials.
