Belgium comes to Tel Aviv – a culinary festivalby Sarit Goffen | 31.03.15
A culinary festival will be held between March 30 and April 2 at the Tel Aviv port market. This is the second year the festival showcases the best of Belgium; food, beers, music and more. Each night, starting at 19:00, the market in the port will be transformed into little Belgium.
The visitors will be able to stroll amidst the stands which will offer special imported treats such as chocolates, waffles, beers and Belgium signature dishes.
This celebration will not be complete without Belgium undisputed star – the center of every party – the Belgium beer. During the festival the visitors will enjoy Belgium brands such as Stella Artois (dark lager brewed with bottom formation) and Hoegaarden (produced from barley and wheat and flavored with dried Curacao orange peel, hops and coriander seeds).
The visitors will be able to enjoy the new special flavors of Leffe beer, introduced for the first time in Israel, especially for the festival. It includes fruity tastes of banana and citrus, and bitterer tastes with chocolate, caramel and coffee aroma.
