Messa
by Sarit Goffen | 16.03.16Messa, one of Tel Aviv’s oldest and most stable restaurant, has been operating for over a decade. For those who don’t know it, Messa was founded at the end of 2004 by the chef Aviv Moshe and is considered one of Israel’s most luxurious, elegant, and leading restaurants. Messa maintains a high level of quality – not a simple feat – and continues to renew itself and innovate.
Any first time visitor cannot help but admire the unique and breathtaking décor by architect Alex Meitlis. The prestigious design magazine “Wallpaper” rated Messa as one of the world’s 50 most beautiful restaurants.
In the menu, Aviv Moshe boldly combines east and west. Moshe’s culinary vision is based on creative interpretation of his favorite local dishes. It integrates cooking techniques from Provence and Southern Italy while using fresh seasonal ingredients of the highest quality.
No less important is Messa’s elite pastry menu, supervised by gifted pastry chef Adi Sibrower.
The restaurant is divided into two areas: the white area containing the restaurant, and the black area where the bar works until late at night.
